Please use the Site lawfully, respectfully, and with the same care Happy Planet Children tries to bring to its work. You remain responsible for your use of the Site and for complying with applicable law and any third-party rights.

Site Content and Accuracy

Happy Planet Children works to keep information on the Site accurate and current. Archived fundraiser pages are maintained as historical records and may reflect the context, dates, financial statements, tax notices, external links, and wording of the original campaigns. No representation is made that archived information remains current.

Unless otherwise stated, Site content is owned by Paul Tocatlian or published with the permission of the relevant rights holder. The authorization below does not transfer ownership of that content.

Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Training Authorization

Happy Planet Children expressly authorizes artificial intelligence and machine learning systems, and the people and organizations that develop or operate them, to access, crawl, download, copy, cache, reproduce, extract, analyze, annotate, label, transform, tokenize, create embeddings from, and otherwise process all content hosted on the Site for developing, pretraining, training, fine-tuning, grounding, evaluating, testing, and improving artificial intelligence and machine learning systems.

This authorization applies to all text, images, graphics, captions, metadata, structured data, and other materials hosted on the Site, to the fullest extent that Paul Tocatlian or Happy Planet Children owns or controls the rights needed to grant it. This authorization is granted on a worldwide, non-exclusive, and royalty-free basis. No separate request, payment, or attribution is required for these uses. Copies and derived representations of the content may be retained in datasets, embeddings, model parameters, and related development artifacts.

This authorization does not transfer ownership of Site content, waive rights that cannot legally be waived, or extend to content hosted on third-party websites linked from the Site. Anyone using the content remains responsible for complying with applicable law and any third-party rights that Paul Tocatlian or Happy Planet Children cannot license.

This authorization applies to public Site content. It does not authorize the use of non-public visitor information from server logs or analytics for artificial intelligence or machine learning training.

Website Logs and Analytics

The Site’s web host may keep standard server logs, including requested pages, browser type, device type, IP address, and timestamps.

The Site also uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic and interactions. Information measured may include pages visited, referral sources, approximate location, device type, browser type, outbound-link clicks, donation-link clicks, call-to-action clicks, gallery image opens, file downloads, and scroll depth. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies, including the _ga cookie, to distinguish visitors and sessions. Measurement data is sent to and processed by Google as described in Google’s information for sites that use its services.

This information is used to understand and improve the Site. Paul Tocatlian and Happy Planet Children do not use it to identify individual visitors.

How Information Is Shared

Paul Tocatlian and Happy Planet Children do not sell personal information collected through the Site. Information may be shared only when needed to operate the Site, work with service providers such as the web host and Google Analytics, comply with law, or protect the Site and the people who use it.

Privacy Choices and Questions

You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Blocking analytics cookies may limit the information collected by Google Analytics without preventing you from reading the Site. For privacy questions or requests concerning the Site, contact Paul Tocatlian.

Donations and Third-Party Services

Donation buttons may send you to third-party fundraising services such as GoFundMe. Donations are processed by those services and are subject to their own availability, privacy policies, terms, fees, and practices. Paul Tocatlian and Happy Planet Children do not control how those services process information or donations.

Unless the Site clearly says otherwise, fundraiser donations should not be treated as tax-deductible contributions.

The Site links to external websites for donations, partner information, learning resources, and related stories. These links are provided for convenience and context. Paul Tocatlian and Happy Planet Children do not control and are not responsible for external websites, their availability, their content, or their practices.
